Contest rules

  1. Eligibility: This contest is open to residents of Washington state who are at least 18 years old. Employees of Burgermaster, their immediate family members, and individuals affiliated with the production, implementation, or administration of the contest are not eligible to participate.
  2. Entry Requirements: To enter the contest, participants must follow all requirements described in contest post. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win.
  3. Contest Duration: Each contest will have duration and specific end time/date listed in contest post.
  4. Prize Description: The prize(s) for this contest will vary.  No prize(s) will have cash value.  Burgermaster is not responsible for any event cancelations.
  5. Winner Selection: The winner(s) will be selected at random at the time the contest ends. The winner(s) will be announced via social media post/story.  Winner(s) will also be sent a direct message.
  6. Rights to Entries: Participants retain ownership of the content they submit for the contest. However, by participating in the contest, participants grant Burgermaster a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, reproduce, and display their entries for promotional purposes related to the contest.
  7. Publicity and Privacy: Personal information collected during the contest will be used solely for the purpose of administering the contest, unless otherwise stated in the privacy policy. By participating in the contest, participants consent to the use of their names, images, and submitted content for promotional purposes related to the contest, without further compensation.
  8. Compliance with Platform Guidelines: This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram/Meta. Participants understand that they are providing their information to Burgermaster and not to the social media platform.
  9. Legal Restrictions: Participants must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. If a participant is under the age of 18, parental consent is required to enter the contest.
  10. Terms and Conditions: By participating in the contest, participants agree to abide by these rules and any decisions made by Burgermaster regarding the contest, which are final and binding in all respects.
  11. Amendments and Termination: Burgermaster reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest at any time for any reason. In such an event, reasonable efforts will be made to notify participants.
  12. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes or issues arising from this contest shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state of Washington. Participants agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this contest shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington state.
  13. General Guidelines: Participants must comply with the terms of service and guidelines of the social media platform on which the contest is hosted. Offensive, inappropriate, or fraudulent entries will be disqualified. Multiple accounts and any actions that violate the platform’s terms of service are strictly prohibited.
