Burgermaster Breaks Ground in Marysville
Burgermaster broke ground Oct. 15 on its sixth location, at 8925 35th Ave. NE in Marysville. Owner and CEO Alex Jensen was joined by Marysville Mayor Jon Nehring, members of the Jensen family, community leaders and the Greater Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce for a ceremonial shovel turn and a first look at the restaurant rendering.
“My grandfather opened our first drive-in in 1952 on a simple idea: great burgers, served with care, by people who know your name. Seventy-five years later, we’re bringing that same tradition to Marysville,” said Jensen. “This community has welcomed us before we’ve even flipped a burger, and we can’t wait to become part of everyday life here.”
The Marysville location will open in two phases. A temporary kitchen will begin serving guests in early 2027 while construction on the permanent drive-in continues. The opening comes during a milestone year for Burgermaster, which celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2027.
