We are coming to Issaquah!

March 27, 2024 — Press

Burgermaster will soon open our 6th location in Issaquah, as the new tenant in the former Triple XXX Rootbeer Drive-In. For a number of years, the Jensen family kept an eye on this iconic location as a potential future Burgermaster, and we are delighted to start making that dream into a reality.

We are conducting an extensive review of the building and lot, and we plan to communicate a projected open date soon. Given Burgermaster’s 72-year relationship with the greater Seattle area, history is important to us. We hope to preserve the existing legacy of this location in Issaquah and incorporate it into our on-going Burgermaster story.

Burgermaster was founded in 1952 by Phil and Mary Jensen. Our flagship location still stands near the shadows of Husky stadium. Phil founded Burgermaster with a plan to serve high-quality food at reasonable prices. We’ve stuck with this business model since 1952, and our customers tell us they can taste the difference! At Burgermaster we only serve high quality ingredients like our grass-fed and grass-finished locally sourced beef, line caught Alaskan cod, and antibiotic free chicken.

The Jensen Family commitment to quality continues beyond our menu. Mary believed that the Burgermaster experience started from the moment a customer drove onto our lot. Even though she is over 104 years old, Mary still provides insight on which bulbs to plant each fall and her gorgeous flower beds are still meticulously maintained by the Burgermaster team of gardeners.

Outside of our restaurants, Burgermaster strives to give back to the neighborhoods in which we operate. From hosting school fundraisers to sponsoring local youth sports teams to partnering with various regional non-profit organizations; we are proud to serve our communities much more than just great food.
